Circa 1905 Threshing Machine Power Supply

Circa 1918-19 William Norman Brown
Son of J L & Anna (Dora) Brown of Whitney Township. Born 19 Jan 19 1891, William entered WWI at Camp Custer on 24 July 24, 1918. He was discharged 18 Jan 18 1919.

1920s Hammel Beach Area Barn
On Former Abe Badour Farm off Hammel Beach Rd between Van Horn and Delano Rds. Ed Van Horn, Bill Farver (owner of steam machine), Walt Rowe (Farver's helper), Ezra Lincoln. Crew is Ben Van Horn, Abe Badour, Rob Smith, Archie Shotwell.

1927-28 Riverside School
Wooden house-like structure with extended entranceway, 2 chimneys and squat bell cupola. Partial building in left foreground, mound of soil/sand in foreground.

After 1930 Gravelly Shoal Light
The automated Gravelly Shoal light replaced the Charity Island [Lighthouse] light in 1930. Gravelly Shoal is the point where incoming freighters turn southeast into the inner Saginaw Bay toward the Saginaw River.

Circa 1944 Charles Brown
Son of William Norman & Byrde Brown (Brown's Fishery) of Whitney Township. A Normandy paratrooper, Charles was killed 4 July 1944.
